mostly practical stocking stuffers: a 2024 holiday gift guide.

Who doesn’t love a good stocking stuffer? Aside from the candy cane shaped candy holder of my youth, I think stocking stuffers are fun gifts that complete Christmas morning! Here are nine of my favs:

one: My friend Rachel brought this package opener to a recent ‘Favorites Party’ we had this autumn, and its a great gift that gets a lot of use with the online-shopping/delivery world we live in. Best part — it’s not sharp, can’t cut you (but somehow magically slices every package open so well!), plus it’s magnetic so it can stay on your fridge!

two: My friend Shana and I were in our fav paper shop, called Wolf + Wren a few weeks ago, and on a whim, I got one of these cutie little dog top japanese pens, and it’s quickly become my FAVORITE pen to write with. It glidessss across the table, plus the tail as the pen clicker is just a cute touch. Perf to give to each of your pals.

three: I know this doesn’t exactly scream FUN holiday gift, but it’s practical in its own right. This weighted cord holder is perfect for side tables or nightstands to hold the cords to the things you charge. We have one on our nightstand, and also one on our coffee bar for various cords we use regularly.

four: I used to see this at Target all the time, but I lived alone, so it was silly to get it just for myself. But this dishwasher magnet with a take on a Closed/Open sign for the dishwasher is actually the best little thing to know if the stuff in the dishwasher is dirty or clean. This would also be a cute White Elephant Gift.

five: This might be projecting something I would love to find in MY stocking, but these SmartSweets Peach Rings are my fav gummy candy of all-time. They’re usually at Sprouts, King Soopers, etc, etc, and wowow, the taste, texture, etc is 10/10.

six: American Eagle Colorblock Crew Socks are my all-time favorite socks for winter and that’s saying something because I don’t really like socks LOL. I wear them with boots, I wear them around the house, I love ‘em! These ones are almost 100% cotton and they’re sooo soft.

seven: Five Crowns is a CLASSIC and repeat card game in our house. We play it with our friends and even keep a game in our car just for when we’re out and about. Other card games that are fun are Monopoly Deal, SkyJo and Cover Your A$$ets.

eight: Do you know the tradition of the Christmas Pickle? I have had it as a tradition for the last while, but during Christmas, you hide the pickle on the tree and encourage anyone who visits to try to find it! What perfect way to pass on the tradition than by gifting your own Christmas Pickle Ornament?

nine: Some of you might remember seeing The Bug-Bite Thing on Shark Tank, but this little tool is actually a very handy item to have in your home. Anytime you get a bite - be it spider, mosquito, etc, you put this over it, suction it, and it helps stop the itching and pulls the venom out! Random, I know, but useful! Plus it comes in a few different colors.

Until we gift-guide again!
