advent calendars: a 2025 gift guide
Day 3 of my 2025 Gift Guides is here! Thank you to everyone who’s browsed along so far. Today’s roundup is all about advent calendars! Advent is a beautiful season of anticipation, reflection and hope as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. It can also be a fun time to enjoy a small treat each day and stretch the celebration all month long.
A quick note: some of these calendars can get a little pricey, so if you’re gifting one, I personally think the daily surprises are the gift!
From an adorable American Girl baking–themed calendar for the little sweetie girl in your life to a set of Jibbitz perfect for your Croc-loving uncle, there’s truly something here for everyone. Enjoy!
one: starting off with an Advent calendar my husband got me last year — the Bonne Maman Mini-Jam Advent Calendar is a DELIGHT. I will say, I mainly wanted this because of the little cute jam jars, and some of the jams were not MY jam, but it was so so fun to open the cutie mini jars each day (plus I kept all of them, and reused for little candles and jars for sauces or caramel.) Yum! If you like toast or jams or mini jars, this is a great choice.
two: for the girl in your life who always has her nails painted — how fun is this Olive and June Advent Calendar? A cutie mini bottle of nail polish each day sounds so fun! Plus, a nice thing about Olive & June is that they are "15-free," meaning their polished are free of 15 common "no-no" ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, and phthalates, etc etc.
three: this Papier x Anthropologie 12-day Advent Calendar is so cute! for the stationery lover in your life, this one is filled with bookmarks, cards, envelopes, etc, this is so cute. They also have a 24-day version on the Papier site if you want to keep the joy going all month long.
four: for the puzzle lover in your life, this 12 Days of Puzzles Advent Calendar is a fun way to do a little puzzle each day. Each puzzle is 80 pieces each.
five: this one is kind of niche, but if you or someone you know has a Nespresso Vertuo, why not gift them the gift of daily coffee pods with a Nespresso Vertuo Advent Calendar?
six: HEADS UP, this one is a splurge! this Uncommon James Advent calendar is pricey, but it has $500 worth of jewelry in it, with a piece given each day! Could be a great gift to refresh the jewelry collection for a special someone in your life (or yourself!)
seven: I LOVE Tony’s Chocolonely, so when I saw they had an Advent Calendar full of tasty chocolate, it brought me right back to my childhood.
eight: Keeping on the traditional chocolate advent theme, there’s also this William Sonoma Merry & Bright Chocolate Advent calendar which looks pretty delish!
nine: okay, if I was a little girl, I would ADORE THIS SO MUCH. This American Girl Advent Baking Play Set has the cutest little baking goodies each day, SO CUTE. I wish I had a niece. LOL.
ten: And the ADULT version of this, is this Williams Sonoma 24 Days of Baking Cookies set for actual baking.
eleven: the bookworm gift guide was one of my most popular last year, so, to honor that, this super cute Book Lovers Advent Calendar is perfect for the bookish girls in your life.
twelve: I really like all of the Kitsch products I’ve tried, and this 12-day North Pole Advent Calendar is a good gift to give to any of your girlfriends who love good hair days.
thirteen: ending with a BANG by way of a 26 days of jibbitz (the little things you stick in croc holes LOL) advent calendar for any croc wearing pal in your life. too fun.
That’s all for today. See you tomorrow!
