Welcome to Day 4 of my 2026 gift guides! Today we’ve got actually useful stocking stuffers! These things are tried, true, and repeat buys for ourselves and for gifts!
one: these match striker strips can turn ANY vessel into a match holder where you can store and light matches. GENIUS.
two: when I tell you that we use our handheld frother every single day, i mean it. you just never realize how much you use a frother. we use ours for mixing electrolytes, frothing coffee/milk, etc, etc. the handy stand means it just is conveniently tucked rather than just laying wherever.
three: i received this slice box opener for christmas a few years ago and it is such a game changer. in an era of lots of boxes and amazon deliveries, this box opener is ICONIC. it’s small, its magnetic to be on your fridge, and it’s made from a small ceramic point, so unlike a knife or traditional box-cutter with a blade, this is safe for kids and is SO HANDY.
four: another tried and true, Ove Gloves have completely replaced traditional oven mits in our home. I’ve gifted them many a time (they also make a good ‘As Seen on TV’ white elephant gift’).
five: these erasable pens are so cool! they write like normal pens, but when you use the other end “eraser” (which is activated by heat/friction) the ink is completely erasable! the animals are the cutest and they would be cute for anyone’s stocking!
six: i have gifted this beaded charging cord and it’s my most complimented car accessory. this is a multi-prong charging cord (usb, usb-c, lightning) that allows you to charge anything, the cord is sturdy and there’s lots of different bead options!
seven: this WD-40 precision pen is just one of those things that you’d probably never buy, but if you have it in your junk drawer, you’re shocked how much you use it.
eight: who doesn’t need a mini lint roller? I like practical stocking stuffers, and I just feel like someone might always be able to use this.
nine: a silk pillow case is one of those cheap, yet luxurious items. I have used one for over a decade and it’s gentle on your hair, skin, and it’s just cozy and looks fancy.
ten: if you love to read at night, or do crosswords or sudoku’s in bed, i highlyyy recommend this reading light. I use it nightly (even sometimes a flashlight when I don’t want to use my phone as a flashlight). it’s got dimmer settings, three different colors, charges via USB and holds a charge for days and days.
eleven: this little mini redmond real salt shaker is another one of those things that you don’t think you’d use until you have it at your disposal.
twelve: this sugru moldable glue is a great hybrid of sticky tack meets superglue meets 3M hooks that really just molds, seals, or mends, etc etc. the possibilities are endless and it’s a handy thing to have!
