It’s November 1st, which means we’re kicking off the ohheyimkay.com 2026 set of gift guides! Thank you to everyone who viewed, shared, enjoyed and shopped from them last year! Compiling these are one of my most favorite anticipatory holiday traditions!
First up: ADVENT CALENDARS! Advent is a beautiful season of anticipation, reflection and hope as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. It can also be a fun time to enjoy a small treat each day and stretch the celebration all month long. I recommend getting them early (November) because they sell out quick and you (or whoever you’re gifting it to) will have it on lock come December!
A quick note: some of these calendars can get a little pricey, so if you’re gifting one, I personally think the daily surprises are the gift!
From a Monopoly calendar with collectible game tokens to 24 days of crafts and Twinings teas, there’s truly something here for everyone. Enjoy!
one: starting off with the 12 Days of Fishwife Advent Calendar — as a recent Fishwife fan (and someone who has my eye on their often sold-out bag balm), this is a fun, unique advent calendar. Plus, I read they are including A BRAND NEW TIN exclusive to this treasure trove of an Advent calendar.
two: if you’re like me and grew up playing board games, including Clue, this Clue Advent Calendar not only has little trinkets but it’s a full on winter mystery to solve within the calendar! I’m gonna call it now and guess it’s Professor Plum in the Conservatory with the Scarf!
three: about 5 years ago, I attended my first tea party as an adult and the host was serving Twining’s Lady Grey tea which is now my all-time fav. This Twining Tea Advent Calendar has a new tea each day, and it includes 2 of each, so you can share a warm cuppa with your bestie or partner!
four: next up is a favorite around here (my husband got me this two years in a row! it’s the Bonne Maman Mini-Jam Advent Calendar. I will say, I mainly wanted this because of the little cute jam jars, and some of the jams have historically not been MY jam, but what is more fun than opening the cutie mini jars each day?! Yum! If you like toast or jams or mini jars to repurpose for other things (think: candles, caramel, etc etc), this is a great choice.
five: i married into a Monopoly family, and by that, I mean they (we) play Monopoly every Christmas (it’s my husband and his brothers’ favorite game). while I absolutely get obliterated each year, this Monopoly Token Advent Calendar is a greattttt addition for any Monopoly lover. It includes real collectible tokens you can use with any of your existing Monopoly games. Who knows, maybe this Christmas i’ll be rolling in with the shiny pink penguin token.
six: i’ve long had my eye on the Papier 24-Day Advent Calendars. for the stationery lover in your life, this one is filled with bookmarks, cards, envelopes, highlighters, pens, etc. Plus the packaging is such a delight in and of itself. They also have a 12-day version if you want to spend a little less.
seven: I LOVE Tony’s Chocolonely. The coin/medallion part of the bar is my favorite part, so the fact that the Advent Calendar has a tasty little medallion each day, yes please!
eight: How CUTE is this Little Golden Books Advent Calendar? It contains 24 miniature paperback Little Golden Books (complete with the classic gold foil spine!) for you to read with the kiddos in your life with a different story each day! (I could see this being a sweet tradition).
nine: i feel like coloring has made a comeback in the last 6-ish years. This Coco Wyo Advent Coloring Book Bundle a little mini coloring book each day for 24 days! so fun!
ten: picture this: each night in December you finish dinner only to remember you get to enjoy a daily piece of decadent Scottish shortbread. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, then this Walker’s 2026 Shortbread Advent Calendar is the one for you.
eleven: if you’ve been here long enough, you know i’m a huge book worm. when i stumbled across this Twenty Four Miniature Books Advent Calendar, i got GIDDY. it contains 24 miniature books that can also be used as ornaments, but they are also fully readable?!!?!?! I am d e a d (and also need).
twelve: alright, last but not least this year is this Craft Project Advent Calendar which has 24 days of curated art supplies and stationery surprises. from watercolor to paper crafts and coloring, this is such a fun way to be creative and use your hands each day! Plus, who knows, maybe it will ignite love for a new hobby!
That’s all for today. See you tomorrow!
